Ceanothus L., is a genus of about 50-60 species of shrubs or small trees in the buckthorn family Rhamnaceae. A genus is confined to North America, with a center of its distribution around California but some metal money (e.g. C. americanus) in the eastern United States and southeast Canada, and others (e.g. C. coeruleus) extending when far south when Guatemala. Virtually all come bush Nought.Five-Three m tall, however Hundred. arboreus & C. thyrsiflorus, two from either California, may be little trees as much as 6-7 m tall.
A majority of the metal money come evergreen, but a handful of metal money altered to cold winters are deciduous.
